Planning Manager / Senior Planner – Data Centres

About the role

RLB is expanding its Advanced Tech and Data Centre portfolio and seeks an experienced Planning Manager or Senior Planner to lead the planning, scheduling and coordination of data‑centre construction projects across London and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for comprehensive planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop detailed project plans, outlining activities, timelines, and critical milestones.
• Coordinate resource allocation of labour, equipment, and materials according to project schedules.
• Identify potential risks and bottlenecks, develop contingency plans, and generate regular progress reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Construction‑related degree or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrable experience in the Data Centre sector or related fields such as MEP, Pharma, Energy.
• Proven track record as a consultant or client‑side Project Planner delivering projects through all stages.
• Strong client‑focused attitude, collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Asta PowerProjects and/or Primavera P6.
• In‑depth knowledge of construction project management principles and scheduling from RIBA stage 1‑5.
