Planning Team Leader

About the role

Hilti is looking for a Planning Team Leader to optimise material flows across its Northern Europe warehouses. You will ensure the right inventory is in the right place at the right time, driving customer experience, profitability and inventory efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the regional planning team for a defined Business Area, delivering performance on forecast accuracy, product availability, inventory (DOH) and obsolescence KPIs.
• Own stock shortage management, creating timely and cost‑effective resolution plans while maintaining high service levels.
• Recruit, develop and coach a high‑performing planning team to provide internal and external customer support.
• Drive LEAN and continuous‑improvement initiatives across Materials Management.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance to build a consensus demand forecast that aligns commercial goals with supply‑chain capabilities.
• Collaborate with Global Process Managers and Logistics to optimise planning processes, inventory levels and total logistics cost.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Professional experience in logistics, specifically demand planning.
• Strong analytical, numerical and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Resilient, assertive, collaborative and able to motivate others.
