Plant Operations Trainer – Full Training Provided

About the role

This position is for an experienced NPORS Plant Operator who wants to move from hands‑on work into a highly autonomous training role. You will deliver both practical and classroom‑based plant operations training and carry out CPCS assessments for clients across Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory‑based training sessions on a range of plant machinery.
• Operate excavators, dumpers, rollers and other equipment during training.
• Conduct CPCS assessments in line with industry standards.
• Travel to customer sites and act as the key technical expert.
• Support the ongoing development and improvement of training courses.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Plant Operations (or equivalent).
• CPCS and/or NPORS licences.
• Recent hands‑on plant operations experience.
• Teaching or training experience, or willingness to develop into a trainer.
• Level 3 teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve within 12 months).
• Full UK driving licence.
