Plumbing and Gas Tutor/Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Plumbing and Gas Tutor/Assessor to deliver Level 3 apprenticeships and short courses across the East Anglia region. The role is field‑based, requiring travel to learner sites and the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theoretical training for Plumbing and Domestic Heating apprentices at Level 3.
• Prepare learners for their End Point Assessment and support them through any barriers.
• Develop, update and implement learning resources and course materials.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and assessment outcomes.
• Collaborate with the training team to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required profile

• Qualified plumber with at least a Level 3 qualification.
• Minimum five years’ experience in plumbing and gas work.
• Current Gas Safe registration.
• Professional, confident communicator able to inspire learners.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Required skills

• Plumbing installation and maintenance.
• Domestic heating system knowledge.
• Gas Safe certified work.
