Police Station Representative

About the role

A specialist private crime firm is seeking a Police Station Representative to join its Criminal & Regulatory Defence team. The position is fully remote and focuses on providing immediate roadside advice and police station representation for transport‑sector clients after incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate telephone advice to clients involved in road traffic incidents.
• Deliver police station representation via the firm’s crisis response line.
• Participate in a shared on‑call rota covering weekdays (5 pm‑9 am), two weekends per month, and bank holidays.
• Maintain phone‑based service delivery, with occasional local attendance only when required.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of criminal defence professionals.

Required profile

• Full police station accreditation (or qualified solicitor/legal executive).
• Strong interest and experience in road traffic offences.
• Flexibility to work the on‑call schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Ability to work remotely and manage on‑call duties alongside other daytime commitments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of road traffic law and related regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to give clear legal advice over the phone.
• Experience handling crisis‑response situations.
