Policy and Parliamentary Manager

About the role

Stonewall is seeking a Policy and Parliamentary Manager to lead its engagement with the UK Parliament and shape public policy for LGBTQ+ equality. You will work within a passionate team to translate the charity’s strategic goals into concrete legislative and policy outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and develop policy proposals that advance LGBTQ+ rights.
• Build and maintain relationships with MPs, Lords, and parliamentary staff.
• Represent Stonewall in parliamentary briefings, hearings and consultations.
• Monitor legislative developments and provide strategic advice to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with campaign teams to align advocacy with broader public‑interest messaging.

• Passion for human‑rights advocacy and political discourse.
• Experience working within UK policy or parliamentary environments.
