Portfolio Commercial Manager – Hospitality

About the role

The Portfolio Commercial Manager will lead the commercial sales strategy for Lipton Media’s hospitality portfolio, overseeing two flagship brands. This hands‑on "player‑manager" role combines strategic planning with day‑to‑day sales execution and team coaching.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and train a sales team of five sales and senior sales executives.
• Develop and deliver commercial plans aligned with business objectives, identifying revenue opportunities and setting sales targets.
• Drive strategic initiatives to maximise growth, customer retention and long‑term commercial success.
• Champion effective use of the CRM system, ensuring accurate data, pipeline management and reporting.
• Manage key accounts, sponsorship opportunities and new‑business generation across the portfolio.
• Oversee floor‑plan management for events.

Required profile

• Experience in the events or exhibitions industry (preferred).
• Proven ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
• Self‑motivated, performance‑driven with a strong desire to achieve commercial goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and objection‑handling skills.
• Strong organisational abilities with effective sales planning.
• Experience writing detailed partnership and sponsorship proposals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Hubspot.
