Portfolio Manager – B2B Events

About the role
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to lead and grow our B2B events portfolio within the Defence division. This hybrid role, based in London, offers the chance to shape the strategic direction of multiple conferences while delivering large‑scale two‑ and three‑day events.
Key responsibilities
- Act as subject‑matter expert for one or more event portfolios.
- Influence portfolio direction, including new revenue streams and commercial viability.
- Scale portfolio revenue by at least 25% year‑on‑year.
- Own the commercial assessment of existing conferences and launch new events.
- Deliver two‑day and three‑day large‑scale events while identifying growth opportunities.
Required profile
- 4+ years of conference production experience.
- Proven track record in validating and delivering conferences.
- Strong academic background.
- Interest or knowledge of the defence sector (highly advantageous).
- Excellent attention to detail and content development skills.

What we offer
- Competitive salary £48,000 – £55,000 per year.
- Performance‑linked bonus of up to £20,000.
