Portfolio & PMO Director - NPD, Innovation & Commercialisation

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Portfolio & PMO Director to act as the strategic integrator for a global consumer healthcare leader. This senior position drives the end‑to‑end delivery engine, turning concepts into sustainable market successes while balancing speed and value.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic Portfolio Integration: model, optimise and steer the portfolio to meet aggressive commercial targets, providing executive‑ready insights and risk mitigations.
• Resource Optimisation & Forward Planning: lead annual cross‑functional budgeting, anticipate capability gaps and ensure high‑priority projects are fully staffed.
• PMO Leadership & Talent Cultivation: coach and scale a high‑performing team of Project Managers, embedding decision discipline, data integrity and pipeline velocity.
• VP‑Level Strategic Influence: partner with Category VPs and functional heads, act as escalation point and challenge business cases using financial and supply‑chain data.

Required profile

• Proven track record in fast‑moving consumer environments such as PepsiCo, GSK, Unilever or similar.
• Extensive experience managing multi‑market innovation and commercialisation portfolios.
• Deep fluency in stage‑gate governance and ability to adapt frameworks to business needs.

What we offer

• Base salary £125,000‑£130,000 per year (negotiable) plus 10% bonus.
• Hybrid working model (2 days onsite per week) in Vauxhall, London.
