Practice Manager – Brighton

About the role

This full‑time position is based in Brighton and focuses on managing the healthcare department within a large retail environment. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient practice operations, compliance with regulations, and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the healthcare department, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
• Lead, motivate and support a team to deliver excellent customer service and care.
• Monitor key performance indicators and drive improvements to meet business targets.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting and cost control for the department.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing healthcare operations, preferably within a retail setting.
• Strong leadership and team‑motivation abilities.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Good knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in financial management, budgeting and reporting.
