Preparation Assistant – Mercedes‑Benz Used Car Department

About the role

Mercedes‑Benz of Swindon is seeking a motivated Preparation Assistant to support the Used Car department. You will work closely with sales and service managers to ensure every vehicle is ready for delivery and sale, providing a seamless experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Trade Disposal process for used vehicles.
• Prepare cars for delivery, including valeting and administrative paperwork.
• Coordinate with the after‑sales team to ready stock for the showroom.
• Inspect customer vehicles for blemishes or damage and record findings.
• Maintain accurate records of preparation activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience with a premium automotive brand.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail when checking vehicle condition.
• Full, valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Driving licence (full, valid).
