Presales Solutions Consultant - Data Management

About the role

FE fundinfo is looking for a Presales Solutions Consultant (internal title: Market Specialist) in London to act as the commercial voice of its Data Mastering and Nexus platform. The role engages prospects and clients throughout the pre-sale journey, champions the solution in the market and bridges client needs with the product and delivery teams. It suits someone combining deep domain knowledge, consultative selling and thought leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the commercial team to bring new prospects and upsell opportunities to a successful close.
• Lead prospects and customers through tailored demonstrations of the Data Mastering and Nexus platform.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and workshops for RFPs, RFIs and discovery phases that explain best-practice operating models.
• Gather market intelligence from current and prospective customers and share it internally with Product and Customer Success teams.
• Develop scalable artefacts, scripts and supporting materials that strengthen the sales process and proposition alignment.
• Support webinars and speak at industry forums to build the company's profile as a thought leader in data management.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in an asset manager or a financial software provider serving the asset management industry.
• Proven background in financial services software consulting, pre-sales, or operational and service delivery.
• Detailed understanding of asset management processes around data management, document production and dissemination.
• Comfortable with occasional international travel, roughly once per quarter.

Required skills

• Ability to map complex financial and business concepts to practical system capabilities in a client-facing context.
• Confident, polished presentation skills, able to simplify complexity while giving precise detail.
