Primary Class Teacher – EYFS, KS1 or KS2

About the role

A well‑regarded primary school in Wickford is looking for a passionate Primary Class Teacher to start in September 2026. The position offers flexibility to teach in Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and strengths. You will join a supportive environment with experienced Teaching Assistants in each phase.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons tailored to the needs of your pupils.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and senior staff to support pupil progress.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and parent communication.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Recent experience teaching in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and high educational standards.
• Current enhanced DBS certificate.

• Curriculum planning and delivery.
• Assessment and data‑driven tracking of pupil progress.
• Use of classroom technology and digital resources.
