Primary Class Teacher – Year 6 – Barking & Dagenham

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated Primary Class Teacher for Year 6 to join a vibrant primary school in Barking & Dagenham. The role involves teaching across the full primary age range (3‑13) with an immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons for all pupils.
• Create a safe, positive learning environment that supports student well‑being.
• Use varied teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Monitor progress, assess outcomes and provide regular feedback to parents and staff.
• Contribute to pastoral care, extra‑curricular activities and the wider school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a primary setting, preferably a prep school.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Passion for education and commitment to high standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑16:00.
