Primary Intervention Teacher

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated Primary Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in South Birmingham on a long‑term basis. The role focuses on delivering targeted literacy and numeracy support to pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping them close learning gaps and reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils.
• Plan and deliver engaging, small‑group lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting interventions as required.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs and senior leaders.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Passion for supporting pupils with varying abilities and learning needs.
• Patient, nurturing and committed to raising attainment.
