Primary Learning Support Assistant

About the role

We are partnering with primary schools across Medway to provide experienced SEND Teaching Assistants for both day‑to‑day supply and longer‑term placements. The role starts after the half‑term break and runs until the end of the academic year, offering flexibility and the chance to build strong relationships within supportive school communities.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
• Assist children with ADHD, challenging behaviour, and additional learning needs.
• Follow school policies and contribute to an inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide consistent support during school hours to maintain work‑life balance.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary school setting.
• Ability to work with children who have ADHD, challenging behaviour, or other additional learning needs.
• Availability from after half‑term through the end of the academic year.
• Flexibility to take on both short‑term supply and longer‑term assignments.
