Primary Supply Teacher (Class Teacher)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to provide daily cover, short‑term and long‑term placements across schools in the Inspire Partnership Trust, Croydon. The role offers flexibility and the chance to work in a variety of primary settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the national curriculum to primary pupils in accordance with school policies.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Adapt lesson plans quickly to meet the needs of each school and class.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and safeguarding concerns.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE, or HLTA Level 4 qualification.
• Experience teaching in primary school settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Flexible, positive attitude and commitment to safeguarding.

Required skills

• Knowledge of primary education standards and curriculum.
