Primary Supply Teacher – Daily & Long‑Term Contracts

About the role

Academics is seeking qualified primary teachers to provide daily and short‑term cover for schools across the Chiltern district. You will work on a flexible basis, taking assignments that range from one‑day placements to longer‑term teaching contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary classroom teaching as required by each school.
• Cover daily and short‑term teaching assignments on short notice.
• Follow the school’s curriculum and policies while maintaining a safe learning environment.
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of different classes and age groups.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for primary education.
• Experience working within primary schools.
• Passion for teaching and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to commute to Chesham and surrounding areas.
• Clearance to work as a supply teacher.
