Primary Supply Teacher (Part‑time/Ad‑hoc)

About the role

Reed Education is looking for qualified Primary Supply Teachers to work on a flexible, part‑time or ad‑hoc basis across schools in Haywards Heath. This role is ideal for teachers who want to supplement existing work, fit teaching around personal commitments, or re‑enter the classroom after a break.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons in primary classrooms.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils.
• Maintain a positive, orderly learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and support staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a primary setting.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to varied placements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
