Primary Teacher – Full‑time Contract

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Primary Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Ilford (IG1). The role is a full‑time, term‑time contract starting in September 2026, offering the chance to work with a supportive senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for primary pupils.
• Mark assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Organise and attend parent evenings and communicate pupil progress.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience in the UK.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
