About the role

Reed Education is seeking a dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Brighton. This full‑time, temporary role offers the chance to shape young learners’ early educational experiences and contribute to a supportive school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging KS1 lessons that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing tailored feedback and support.
• Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that fosters enthusiasm for learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to enhance student outcomes.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching KS1 or in a similar primary teaching role.
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
