Primary Teacher – September Start in Southampton

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Primary Teachers, including Early Career Teachers, to join a network of supportive primary schools in Southampton from September. The role offers the chance to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, delivering high‑quality education in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the national curriculum.
• Assess and track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS by September.
• Passion for supporting pupils’ academic and personal development.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and completion of a valid DBS check.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
• Ability to use standard classroom ICT resources.
