About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Year 2‑6 supply teachers for primary schools across Southampton and the wider Hampshire region. These roles are flexible, allowing you to work full‑time, part‑time or on a day‑to‑day basis, with immediate start dates available.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons for Year 2‑6 pupils in line with the national curriculum.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Provide day‑to‑day teaching support with minimal planning and marking responsibilities.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and timetables.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching Year 2‑6 classes.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt to varied school environments and schedules.
• Professional, proactive attitude and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS if not already held.
• Passion for supporting the learning and development of primary pupils.
