About the role
Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to support KS1 classes across a network of primary schools in Leeds. You will work closely with teachers to create a nurturing environment where young learners can thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the classroom for each session in collaboration with class teachers.
- Provide small‑group or one‑to‑one support to students as needed.
- Assist teachers with planning, record‑keeping and administrative tasks.
- Support behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
Required profile
- Patient and able to build strong relationships with children.
- Empathetic, kind, caring and approachable towards all students.
- Demonstrates strong behavioural management abilities.
Required skills
- Effective classroom support and student supervision.
