About the role

Reed Education is seeking enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to support KS1 classes across a network of primary schools in Leeds. You will work closely with teachers to create a nurturing environment where young learners can thrive.

Key responsibilities

Prepare the classroom for each session in collaboration with class teachers.
Provide small‑group or one‑to‑one support to students as needed.
Assist teachers with planning, record‑keeping and administrative tasks.
Support behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.

Required profile

Patient and able to build strong relationships with children.
Empathetic, kind, caring and approachable towards all students.
Demonstrates strong behavioural management abilities.

Required skills

Effective classroom support and student supervision.
