Principal AI Architect – Google Cloud

About the role

Shape the future of AI and data as a Principal AI Architect at Datatonic, Google Cloud’s premier partner. You will own end‑to‑end design and delivery of scalable AI platforms, turning proofs‑of‑concept into production‑ready enterprise systems. This is a builder‑led, delivery‑focused architecture role that bridges technical design and business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build data platforms, full‑stack applications and agentic AI solutions from discovery to production.
• Own technical design of complex projects, ensuring scalability, security and alignment with client objectives.
• Conduct technical scoping during client intake and support account growth without losing hands‑on execution.
• Serve as primary technical interface for CTOs, Heads of Engineering and transformation leaders.
• Define infrastructure strategy across networking, data acquisition, security and AI workload orchestration.
• Collaborate with internal delivery leads, AI/data engineers and commercial teams to drive cohesive execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, solutioning and deploying agentic AI platforms at scale.
• Hands‑on expertise with AI frameworks (Google ADK, LangGraph) and LLMs (Gemini, Claude, open‑source models).
• Strong background in data preparation, acquisition and orchestration for AI workloads.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security, networking and production deployment on GCP.
• Track record of delivering complex platforms and advising senior client stakeholders.
