Principal Business Architect

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Principal Business Architect to lead the strategic application of business architecture across the enterprise. You will shape large‑scale transformation programmes, mentor architecture talent and embed architectural integrity into decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise business architecture strategy.
• Lead business architecture work for major transformation initiatives.
• Establish governance structures and ensure compliance with standards.
• Facilitate enterprise‑wide collaboration and strategic alignment.
• Drive innovation in architectural methodologies and problem‑solving.
• Advise senior leadership and shape strategic partnerships.
• Champion a culture of architectural thinking and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Recognised expert in Business Architecture with extensive experience, preferably in financial services.
• Proven ability to guide teams through ambiguity and transformation.
• Experience defining principles, standards and road‑maps.
• Strong communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
