Private Client Chartered Legal Executive – Estate Planning

About the role

This position supports the estate‑planning team by supervising the preparation of wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney. It offers a non‑billable, quality‑focused environment with flexible working options.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced solicitors and technical professionals to ensure high‑quality file progression.
• Review and verify the legal and technical accuracy of wills, trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Provide feedback and suggest changes to meet clients' estate‑planning objectives.
• Liaise closely with the estate‑planning team, offering technical support and guidance.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards through rigorous quality‑assurance checks.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX, STEP member, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of estate planning and proven wills‑writing experience.
• Experience with tax planning related to lifetime planning.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
