Private Client In-House Legal Counsel (Wills Supervision)

About the role

We are seeking an In‑House Legal Counsel to lead private‑client estate planning and wills supervision for our growing team. The role offers a balanced workload with no billable targets, allowing you to focus on quality and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and review of wills, trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney to ensure legal and technical accuracy.
• Provide quality‑assurance feedback and support to solicitors and technical staff throughout case lifecycles.
• Collaborate with the estate‑planning team to resolve queries and improve service standards.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, CILEX or STEP member, or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in private‑client estate planning and wills drafting.
• Experience with tax planning as it relates to lifetime wealth management.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.

What we offer

• Salary £33,000‑£45,000 per year, plus benefits.
