Private Client Solicitor (2-5 PQE) – Peterborough

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Private Client Solicitor with 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience to join a supportive team in Peterborough. You will manage an existing caseload covering wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection matters, estate administration and related tax issues.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a full private client caseload with minimal supervision.
• Provide high‑quality advice on wills, trusts, LPA, court of protection and estate administration.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients and third‑party referrers.
• Utilise the firm’s case management system and legal databases to deliver efficient service.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years PQE as a Private Client Solicitor (minimum 2 years PQE).
• Proven ability to run a full caseload independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills, punctuality and self‑motivation.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a case management system.
• Competent use of legal databases.
