Private Client Solicitor – Wills, Trusts & Probate (0-2 PQE)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Private Client Solicitor to join our growing North London team. The role focuses on wills, trusts and probate work, offering a supportive environment for a solicitor with up to two years post‑qualification experience. You will receive close supervision, mentoring and fully funded STEP and/or ACTAPS qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting wills, including those with simple trusts
• Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Handling deputyship applications under the Mental Capacity Act
• Managing probate and estate administration from instruction to completion
• Preparing estate valuations and inheritance tax documentation
• Processing probate applications, asset collection and distribution
• Preparing estate accounts and providing exceptional client care
• Supporting business development and departmental initiatives
• Opportunity to gain exposure to contentious probate

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 0‑2 years PQE in private client work
• Experience in probate and estate administration
• Ability to manage own files with appropriate supervision
• Strong communication and client‑care skills
• Eagerness to develop expertise within a collaborative team
