Private Client Tax Senior Associate – Trusts & Family Office

About the role

This position is with a top‑10 accountancy and advisory firm, joining a specialist Trusts & Family Office team in London. The role offers hybrid working, exposure to complex UK and offshore trust structures, and strong support for professional qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review trust accounts and related financial statements.
• Manage trust tax compliance, filing, and reporting requirements.
• Support inheritance tax planning and compliance work.
• Handle day‑to‑day client queries and build relationships with trustees and stakeholders.
• Assist senior team members on advisory projects for family office clients.
• Contribute to the development of junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in trusts, including accounting and tax work.
• Background in an accountancy practice or law firm environment.
• Strong communication and client‑facing abilities.
• Qualifications such as ATT, AAT, ACA, CTA, STEP or equivalent experience in trust matters.
