Private Client Team Manager (Maternity Cover) – Bristol

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Private Client Team Manager to cover a maternity leave on a fixed‑term basis. This hybrid role will be based in Bristol and offers the chance to lead a busy probate and estate management team while continuing to handle a small personal caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the private client team, fostering a supportive and high‑performing environment.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Conduct technical reviews and quality checks on estate administration work.
• Act as a technical sounding board for complex probate matters.
• Step in to support the team during periods of absence.
• Maintain a small personal caseload of probate cases.

Required profile

• Strong technical probate experience covering end‑to‑end estate administration.
• Solid understanding of complex probate matters.
• Enjoys coaching and mentoring colleagues.
• Confident in giving feedback and building positive relationships.
• Effective communicator who leads by example.
