Private Clients Account Executive

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious insurance professional to join a leading brokerage as a Private Clients Account Executive. You will combine strategic new‑business development with elite relationship management to grow and retain a high‑value private client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Generate high‑value new business leads through targeted marketing, networking, referrals and tele‑marketing to meet sales targets.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with a designated portfolio of private clients, aiming for a renewal retention rate of 90%+.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and present market options to secure the best premiums and coverage for clients.
• Maintain impeccable customer service standards, handling client queries, documentation and mid‑term adjustments swiftly and accurately.
• Document all client interactions, files and financial processing on internal IT systems in line with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty standards.

Required profile

• Strong background in the insurance sector, preferably working with private clients or high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Proven ability to generate leads, close sales and build a pipeline through proactive outreach.
• Certificate in Insurance (CII) qualified or actively working towards it, with continuous professional development supported.
• Solid understanding of FCA regulations, Treating Customers Fairly and Consumer Duty principles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with affluent clients and collaborate with internal teams.
