Private Clients Insurance Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Private Clients Insurance Team Leader to manage our busy private client department in North/Mid Kent. You will lead a team of eight professionals while maintaining a select book of high‑net‑worth (HNW) clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team in line with business plans and budget.
• Manage a portfolio of key HNW clients, ensuring renewal, invoicing and collection.
• Oversee team performance – wins, losses, retention, re‑engineering and add‑on sales.
• Allocate and manage workload to meet service timelines.
• Provide leadership, motivation, staff appraisals and coaching.
• Identify training needs and steer development programmes.
• Design insurance programmes that meet client requirements across household, motor and HNW markets.
• Obtain, review and present market terms, and close additional sales.
• Identify and develop new prospects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of household, motor and HNW insurance markets.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong client‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
