Private Equity Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant to work within a private equity firm across the UK. The role will combine business analysis, strategic consulting and project delivery to support our professional services operation. You will collaborate closely with leading private equity investors to solve complex challenges and drive impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
• Act as escalation point for project issues, manage risks and communicate with the Project Director.
• Analyse client business requirements, produce functional specifications and oversee documentation.
• Engage with stakeholders, operations teams and IT to understand processes and supporting systems.
• Facilitate internal and client meetings throughout the delivery lifecycle, including scoping, design, testing and implementation.
• Delegate tasks to analysts and other resources, and monitor progress against plans.
• Prepare status reports and present updates to steering committees.
• Maintain senior client relationships, lead meetings and identify opportunities for account growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in consulting or project delivery within the private equity or financial services sector.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on delivering high‑quality outputs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated attitude toward personal development and knowledge sharing.
