Probate Executive

About the role

Our client, a well‑established private client law firm near Hailsham, is seeking an experienced Probate Executive to manage a diverse portfolio of probate and estate administration matters. The role offers the chance to work independently while being supported by a friendly, family‑focused team.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of probate cases from instruction through to completion.
• Provide high‑quality client care and maintain clear communication throughout the process.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including wills, grants of representation and estate accounts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and firm procedures.
• Collaborate with senior partners and other team members when complex issues arise.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified CILEX Probate Practitioner or a Licensed Probate Practitioner.
• Proven experience managing your own probate caseload.
• Ability to work autonomously as a stand‑alone fee earner.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Professional, approachable demeanor and commitment to outstanding client service.
