Process Engineer - Energy Projects

About the role

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Process Engineer to lead FEED and process design for a pioneering climate‑technology company. You will help scale carbon‑negative technology from pilot plant to commercial deployment, working across multidisciplinary teams and influencing technical direction.

Key responsibilities

• Technical lead for Process Engineering and multidisciplinary design activity.
• Own the Process Engineering Basis of Design and lead FEED packages.
• Develop process designs including PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances and equipment sizing.
• Conduct HAZOP studies, ensure process safety, support commissioning and troubleshoot operations.
• Mentor junior engineers and help develop engineering standards.

Required profile

• Process Engineer from an industrial process environment.
• Strong FEED and process design experience.
• Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, HAZOP and process safety.
• Proficiency in Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS or equivalent tools.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field.
• Background in energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, waste‑to‑energy or similar sectors.
