Procurement Buyer – Indirect Procurement (Hybrid)

About the role

Join a leading UK food manufacturer as a Procurement Buyer supporting indirect categories such as IT, HR and factory services. The role is hybrid, with three days a week in the Birmingham office, and offers a fast‑paced environment where you will develop core procurement skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement Manager with RFI, RFQ and ITT preparation.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers.
• Support the implementation of supplier agreements and category plans.
• Participate in supplier negotiations and tender processes.
• Contribute to the delivery of indirect procurement strategies.

Required profile

• Some experience in procurement, purchasing or a related coordination role.
• Willingness to learn and develop across multiple procurement projects.
• Proactive, motivated and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Interest in building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
