Procurement & Contracts Manager – Social Housing

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement & Contracts Manager to lead procurement, commercial management and contract governance for a respected social housing organisation in London. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure contracts deliver value for money, compliance and positive outcomes for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organisation’s procurement strategy across property services, repairs, maintenance, ICT and corporate services.
• Manage complex procurement exercises, from tendering to award, ensuring robust governance and compliance with legislation.
• Oversee contract governance, KPI and SLA monitoring, and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Support major property investment, building safety, repairs and compliance programmes.
• Identify efficiency opportunities, embed sustainability and social value, and produce reports for senior leadership and boards.

Required profile

• Significant procurement and contract management experience in social housing, construction, local government or a similarly regulated environment.
• Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end procurement projects and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and report‑writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
