Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for a leading healthcare organisation in Slough. The role is fully office‑based, offering a permanent, Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement end‑to‑end procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage indirect procurement categories, conduct market research and engage top‑tier suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Oversee the procure‑to‑pay cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with budgetary guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve cost savings and enhance procurement performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement or related field; CIPS qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ procurement experience, ideally within healthcare or medical device sector.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities with high attention to detail.
