Procurement Transformation Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Transformation Consultant to lead and accelerate key transformation initiatives within a high‑profile financial services organisation. Working alongside the Procurement Manager, you will operate at a senior level with a high degree of autonomy, focusing on modernising the procurement function rather than day‑to‑day sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight and expert guidance in developing and implementing standardised procurement documents, templates, and toolkits across the full procurement lifecycle.
• Ensure consistency, compliance and quality of all procurement documentation while introducing best‑practice approaches to improve efficiency and governance.
• Identify digitalisation opportunities, deliver short‑term improvement recommendations and shape a long‑term digital procurement roadmap.
• Support the adoption of procurement systems, tools and automation to enhance delivery, reporting and analytics.
• Assist in designing and embedding a centre‑led Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework.

Required profile

• Significant experience in procurement transformation or process improvement within a financial services or similar environment.
• Proven ability to work autonomously at senior level and lead cross‑functional initiatives.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder‑management skills, with a focus on driving consistency and governance.
• Willingness to work on a hybrid model (2 days onsite per week) for a 6‑month initial contract.
