Product Analyst – Financial Services (12‑month contract)

About the role

Join a leading financial institution in Gateshead as a Product Analyst on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work closely with product managers and cross‑functional teams to shape and deliver new financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into clear product features.
• Define and maintain the feature backlog, prioritising items using value metrics within the SAFe Agile framework.
• Write acceptance criteria, refine user stories and support Scrum teams throughout development.
• Oversee user acceptance testing to ensure delivered code meets agreed standards.
• Communicate progress, risks and release decisions regularly to all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business analysis, planning and product management.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong problem‑solving and time‑management abilities, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the capacity to work independently.
