Product Design Engineer – Manufacturing (Medical Devices)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Product Design Engineer to lead the creation of innovative medical devices. Based in Warrington, you will apply your consumer electronics background to develop high‑quality, user‑focused products that improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and development of medical devices from concept through to manufacture using SolidWorks.
• Manage product development projects, ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise performance, reliability and production efficiency.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Lead, Senior or Design Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in consumer electronics design.
• Willingness and ability to transition into the medical device sector.

Required skills

• SolidWorks (advanced CAD proficiency).
