Product Manager

About the role

Monocle is looking for a Product Manager to shape the next phase of its digital experience, serving readers, listeners, subscribers and customers worldwide. You will work within the digital team to define road‑maps, coordinate stakeholders and guide feature development across the subscription, radio and e‑commerce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate product strategy for Monocle’s digital ecosystem in partnership with the Head of Digital.
• Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams to build exceptional products.
• Use data‑driven insights to inform strategic decisions and guide product development.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across Monocle’s international operations.
• Prioritise initiatives that deliver the highest value for users and the business.
• Act as the bridge between technical and non‑technical colleagues, translating complex concepts.
• Facilitate collaboration through regular coordination and clear communication.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of product management experience, preferably in publishing, subscriptions or e‑commerce.
• Experience working within an agile methodology.
• Strong interest in the Monocle brand and its digital potential.
• Proven ability to align cross‑functional teams while juggling competing priorities.
• Track record of building trust and credibility at all business levels.
• Capability to own product requirement discovery and alignment.
• Familiarity with a suite of tools and methods to work efficiently throughout the product lifecycle.
• Experience with external engineering teams and agency partners is desirable.
