Product Manager - Zara, Newcastle

About the role

Zara, part of Inditex, is hiring a full-time, store-based Product Manager in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role reports to the Store Manager or Deputy Store Manager and aims to maximise sales through strong analysis and product strategy, adapting national guidelines to the store, its market and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Build a weekly and weekend commercial strategy with the Pilot Manager and Regional Support, aligned to country direction and tailored to the store.
• Lead commercial actions and workshops and drive their implementation.
• Own analysis across all categories, using daily and weekly trading data to plan ahead.
• Plan and deliver newness launches (collections and lines), ensuring the floor is merchandised to guidelines and standards.
• Monitor trends and competitors and feed feedback to the Store Director, National and Product teams.
• Use commercial tools such as Ranking, 78, Retail App, alerts, ITX stock and the delivery app to hit budgets.
• Manage destocking and capacity devolutions to keep the stockroom active.
• Drive customer experience projects and the KPIs that measure them.
• Develop the team by training, spotting potential and supporting progression.
• Promote sustainability and support innovation in the store.

Required profile

• Previous fashion retail experience in similar roles.
• Merchandising experience, ideally in a similar environment, plus strong customer service.
• Proven record of creating and implementing successful commercial actions.
• Strong commercial mindset: numeracy, communication and presentation skills.
• Adaptable, results-driven and able to stay calm under pressure.
