Product Marketing Manager - UPS

About the role

My client, a leading provider of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solutions, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to shape the UK UPS strategy. The role involves product adaptation, solution development, service innovation and market insight, with responsibility for delivering end‑to‑end critical power solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for the UPS portfolio, providing expertise to support commercial strategy and product evolution.
• Identify and remove technical barriers, work with global factories and R&D to define UK‑specific product enhancements and roadmap requirements.
• Develop UK‑ready solutions through internal capabilities or strategic integration partners, including forecasting and stock management.
• Create value‑added services such as Power Control and lifecycle support to generate recurring revenue.
• Analyse market size, growth trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments across commercial buildings, data centres, healthcare and industrial sectors.
• Manage the UPS portfolio lifecycle, pricing, product data, item creation, stock strategy and profitability.
• Produce technical documentation, specifications, sales tools, training materials and application guidance to enable sales effectiveness.
• Deliver technical training for internal teams, customers and partners, coordinate factory visits and support marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in UPS solutions.
• Commercial acumen and ability to influence product strategy.
• Proven ability to collaborate with global product management, R&D, manufacturing, sales and external partners.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.
