Product Owner

About the role

We are looking for a Product Owner to join a fast‑moving team delivering technology that underpins critical UK infrastructure. The role is primarily home‑based in the UK, with quarterly planning sessions in Bristol, and offers the chance to shape multiple digital transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and prioritize product backlogs across several initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Gather, refine and translate business requirements into user stories, epics and clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders throughout the Agile lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement and sprint reviews.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate product releases.
• Manage relationships with third‑party development partners and ensure delivery of value.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar Agile product role.
• Strong ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience managing product backlogs and prioritising work.
• Confidence working with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
