Product Research & Development Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Product Research & Development Coordinator to join our R&D team in Blackpool. You will help turn market insights into new product concepts and guide them through design, development and launch.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to uncover customer needs, trends and commercial opportunities.
• Generate, evaluate and prioritize new product ideas aligned with business strategy.
• Engage directly with customers to co‑create insight‑driven product concepts.
• Prepare detailed design briefs for the Product Design team.
• Project‑manage product development activities, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Sales and Marketing to deliver cross‑functional solutions.
• Support planning, coordination and execution of product launches.
• Assist in reviewing and maintaining the existing product portfolio.

Required profile

• Degree (minimum 2:1) in Product Design, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and research abilities with commercial awareness.
• Excellent organisational and project‑management skills.
• Confident communicator with strong presentation capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work proactively.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent productivity suite.
