Landscape Architect

About the role

Hill Group UK is seeking a talented Landscape Architect to shape the landscape, public realm and placemaking across residential and mixed‑use developments. You will work from early concept through detailed design and delivery, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide landscape design input across new and live developments.
• Support site layouts, masterplans and placemaking strategies.
• Review and coordinate all landscape designs, creating hard and soft landscape proposals.
• Support planning applications and landscape conditions, integrating Biodiversity Net Gain, SuDS and green infrastructure.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs are practical, coordinated and deliverable.
• Visit sites to maintain landscape quality through construction.

Required profile

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture.
• Experience within a landscape practice, developer, housebuilder or multidisciplinary environment.
• Good understanding of the UK planning system.
• Knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain, sustainable drainage and green infrastructure.
• Strong design skills with a practical and commercially aware approach.
• Experience taking projects from concept and planning through to delivery.
